I am so excited to be featuring LuLu' today!
LuLu's is such a cute store, when I first got word of it a few years ago, I was on their website for far too long! They have such unique and stylish clothing, shoes and accessories! One of my favorite things is that they are constantly getting in new items, so keep this in mind when you check them out!

I love that they carry many different brands and the price point is right on. You can find cute summer dresses, tops and wedges for everyday wear or something a little more fancy for an event or fun night out! I'm sure you can imagine how excited I was when LuLu's sent me some fun stuff to try and share with all of you. I will say they are AMAZING to work with and very efficient. Everything arrived fast and of course, in a cute box with LuLu's adorable tissue paper looking up at me! Now, let me just touch on this white maxi I'm wearing below. As many of you know, I love Maxi skirts and dresses. I think they are a necessity in any wardrobe. I love how this dress just flows, it's light and airy and very feminine. Since it's still a little cool outside, I paired it with this light denim jacket, belt and some wedges. This dress has great detail along the neckline as you'll see below so it can definitely be dressed up or worn alone with cute gold sandals and a tan this summer - I can't wait!

Like I said before the people at LuLu's are great and to prove it, they are offering my readers 15% off your total order today through Sunday. [2/28-3/3/13] It is valid for customers in the US and Canada and is a one use per customer coupon. So take a look, you have all weekend to shop and the 15% off helps. Oh and you get free shipping and returns if you spend $50!

At checkout just enter SINCERELY (it is case sensitive.)
The only advice I have is with any online shopping, know your measurements so you can order correctly, look at the sizing charts, they help!

If you guys read my last post, you know that I wouldn't recommend anything I didn't truly like. I think this place will give you great stylish pieces for this spring and summer for a good price. Have fun shopping!

Tomorrow is Friday and I am co-hosting a Friday Blog Hop so definitely stop back by to meet new bloggers and link up!

I have been wanting to do a post on this subject for quite some time now. It's something that I have given a lot of thought to and something that I strongly believe in as a blogger.
Being relatable.
I started my blog as an outlet for myself, my place, my space and my voice. It's something I will have to always look back at, remember things and see my life grow and myself grow. I like sharing everything from stories about family and friends to big events in my life, as well as experiences, travels, cooking, crafty things I'm learning and my style. I didn't plan on being a fashion blogger. I really don't even think of myself or blog as that. Like at all.
I have always liked clothes, always liked to shop and I don't think that will ever change. I'm not going to mention names of blogs but my very first favorite was a blog that I could relate to. This girl was a real ordinary girl who had great style and a great way of putting together pieces of clothing that worked. Not to mention she shared her journey of life and love and now a baby. She left me inspired. She wears normal clothes from places that I can go to and I can shop at, that is why I loved her blog. I have to admit there are some new blogs out there with beautiful girls behind them but honestly when I click on items they are wearing and they are like $130 for a top and $395 for shoes, it's just not realistic. It's not happening for me and I truly believe you can have great style without blowing that kind of money.
When I first started doing outfit posts I have to admit, it felt funny, standing there posting and hoping the pictures looked good. Not to mention people driving by or looking or thinking we were crazy. B and I that is, he's my professional photographer. ;)
Another thing that I had to accept is that not everyone would "get it" the blog thing and the outfits. I don't like attention and I don't like being looked at which is weird when I post outfit pictures. I'm not some self absorbed person who loves posting pictures of herself. My reason for this is to share style and ideas and good finds on clothes.
One of this biggest things I like about outfit posts are that they hold me accountable, accountable for putting together a cute outfit. Trying new things and pairing up items that have been in my closet for years. It has pushed me to try new things, like why not put this big purple bow headband on my head with a teal shirt and patterned leggings?!
Not only that, but maybe, just maybe someone will see this post and notice they might already have something similar in their own closet and it might give them an idea to try a similar outfit. Or even last week I posted a pink lace dress I found at H&M for $20, I want to share things with you guys so you can possibly go find that same dress for $20 at a store near you.
In my opinion, clothing is such a great way to express yourself, your mood and who you are. Getting up in the morning to do an outfit post makes me get ready and take care of myself, and honestly I feel better throughout the day because I feel good about my outfit and I think that comes through in your attitude all day.
My outfits are real and I want my readers to be able to relate and get ideas from my style. That's why I do it. I want to show people how I wear clothing from H&M, Target, Forever 21, Lulu's, ASOS, Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, TJ MAXX etc. I also love finding small companies or girls trying to launch clothing or accessories via etsy, or online boutiques - it's fun to show new talent.

Thank you so much for reading and in the category of my style and my outfit posts, I hope you all feel like you can relate. If you ever have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

This holiday is 100% a Hallmark holiday, I get it, I totally get it! My husband is a believer in that and I have already heard about it. I however, really like this day. It's a time to celebrate love and see red and pink everywhere, who cares if its a Hallmark holiday. It's still a fun day to bring treats to people, wear red and just celebrate love. When you stop and think about it, everything is based on love, in my opinion it makes the world go round, and makes life worth living.
This morning I woke B up with a home-made breakfast sandwich (his favorite) along with some cute little decorations and a card. He loved it, and even if he doesn't REALLY care about my cutsey handmade decor, he felt special. He felt loved and that is all I wanted from my gesture.
Not to mention, I know that the quickest way to my hubby's heart is through his belly, obviously I'm going to make something yummy for him.
Tonight we are cooking dinner when I get home, mainly to avoid the crowds at restaurants, but then we DO have tickets for Safe Haven tonight, yes the suuuuuper cheesy chick flick with Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel. Hey guys I'm a sucker for these movies, I love a good love story, tear jerker, full of hopeless romance! Lucky for me B feels like he has to go because of V Day, and I'll take it!
I'll post some pics of our night as well as any leftover Vday stuff tomorrow.
I hope you all have a wonderful and feel loved today.
(Outfit details at the bottom!)

So this dress was on the big red clearance rack at H&M and I found it last night! It was $20 guys, so if you love it, go get it, they had a bunch at the location I went to!

Seeing that we are in the middle of winter and I am beyond pale, I thought now would be the perfect time to post our honeymoon pictures! Yes, this was in June of last year but I haven't shared them yet so here you go! I tried to keep them in order as best as we could.
Disclosure, we had to take a lot of the pictures ourselves so be prepared, these are the real deal.
We left for our honeymoon 4 days after the wedding. We did plan is this way because our wedding fell on a holiday weekend so everyone had the Monday after it off. We wanted to have a day to recoup and say our thank you's and good byes to all of our out of town family and friends. I am so glad that we did leave for a few days after, the wedding itself is enough to pack and get ready for let alone to have a full honeymoon bag packed before as well. That just sounded stressful to me and like I said, I wanted to come home and take it all in, read our sweet cards, open our gifts and spend time with people before we were off to have our week away, together. So just a little piece of advice for anyone planning this or thinking about options.
We chose to go the Dominican Republic and I am so glad we did, our route was from Phoenix to Atlanta then on to Punta Cana. It is so beautiful there, as you'll see the beach is white and the water is blue - its breathtaking. We honestly did a whole lot of relaxing, soaking up the sun and the water, walking on the beach and listening to the ocean. We drank fun cold drinks from the pool swim up bars, layed in cabanas, and made other honeymooning friends from Alabama, Minnesota and Georgia all soaking up the bliss of being a newlywed. It's such a special time and after the whirlwind of having a wedding, there is a reason for a honeymoon time to be together and just "be."
One of the mornings I went to the spa (picture of the whirlpools below) for a massage and it was so soothing and relaxing, a morning well spent. While I was there, B played a round of golf on the beautiful course at the hotel, he said it was a blast and even made a random friend. Each night the hotel had activities for the guests, everything from karaoke, a cirque du soilel type show and barbecues on the beach. It was so nice to have nightly activities. One of the days we planned an excursion that was a tour of the country. We got picked up in the morning in this big jeep type thing and were out the whole day. We visited a school, toured the countryside, got to visit a traditional home and tour it, went horseback riding, went to a cigar and sugar cane making place, then last but not least we went to a private and very gorgeous beach. It was a jam packed, eventful day. Definitely a time to be thankful for all that we have here and also to be so thankful we were able to travel to such a beautiful place.
After 7 days of being off the grid and in our own little honeymoon world, it was time to get back to reality. Although it was hard to leave this place we called home for the past 7 days, I was happy to return to our new home, together... oh and with the best tan - the sun down there gave us the nicest bronzed glow.
