That's right! It's been a year! Well, a year and 5 days to be exact. I really feel like this whole first year has flown by! Since our actual anniversary was last Sunday and we spent the day unpacking, B surprised me with a weekend getaway to Park City this weekend so we can officially celebrate or at least have a night to recogonize the year of being married. I'll post a recap of the weekend next week. Also, I am starting my new job on Monday! Eeeekks right?! After being at my last job for 6 years, its kind of a big deal to be starting a whole new job on Monday but in all honesty, I am excited! I really think it was time for me to have this change and take on something new. I really liked all the people that I met during my interview process, and I left with a great feeling. SO - I'll write about the new job next week too!
Okay, now on to the real topic of this post...below you will find:
Some mushy lovey words from me
Some more mushly lovey quotes that I love
and last but not least, some old photos of us. I love looking back at them and since I'm being mushy, I might as well include them. Hope you enjoy!

I want to start this post off by saying getting married really is the greatest thing. As I sit here, I still can't believe I'm a Mrs. I still can't believe I have a new last name but at the same time, it seems so normal and my new last name feels right and flows like its always been my last name.
The commitment you make to one another is incredible and I have loved every single moment of this first year. Yes we have been newlyweds and people say it's  'puppy love' but let me tell you, he is my everything. I love knowing that he will be there, sharing my life, our life... and all of our experiences that are to come. Choosing to spend your life with one person is a huge decision, marriage is forever. He and I will go through every life experience together from here on out. He will make me laugh everyday, I know that for sure. He will love me and take care of me, he will comfort me and always stand by me. He will be a wonderful Dad (gosh I can't wait to see that), he will always keep me entertained and will always make everything fun. He has a heart of gold...the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. He has an incredible group of friends that he has kept over the years and in my opinion that says a lot about a person. He is my husband and as I recogonize this day, I also am promising him to be everything he ever imagined, to always be there for him, support him, encourage him, being an amazing mom to our children, and to love him with everything I have. I love you Bryce, thank you for making me the happiest girl, for loving me at my best and worst and for the past year of being an amazing husband! This is life baby, this is it, us building our life together, one day at a time.

Here is one of my favorite wedding photos form this time last year.

Our goodbye party!

Hi everyone! I didn't really give notice on the fact that I would be COMPLETELY  MIA these past few weeks! I'm so sorry! With packing, wrapping up my job, saying our goodbyes and the actual move itself, it has been a whirlwind to say the least. I will definiely fill you in on the little details of our move, the tough moments, the excitement and plans to come but for now I want to rewind to our going away party we had last weekend. It was absolutely perfect! We went to a restaurant downtown called Culinary Dropout, The Yard.
As you'll see in the pictures below, it is such a fun place, its like a backyard and restaurant all rolled into one! Now that I am typing this, I think I mentioned it before, needless to say, I am a fan of this place. There are ping pong tables, bags (some call it cornhole) and shuffleboard. It was the best place to have people come stop by to visit and say their goodbyes all afternoon into the evening. Now that we are moved to Utah it is especially hard looking back on the pictures of all our amazing friends. They really are incredible! Thank you to each and every one of you who came to say goodbye! We are so lucky to have you in our lives and I know we'll see you all again very soon! I can't wait to have visitors come up here, too. It's not goodbye, it's just see you later.

Happy Monday!
I wanted to share some pictures from the Neon Splash Dash that we did this past weekend! I think it was the first one to come to Scottsdale, it's similiar to The Color Run but it's a night run and it really was a blast! I love these runs becuase you can rally people to do a 5k, even if you aren't a runner it's not too far and it's so fun to do! I would definitely recommend it if it comes to your city! :) The paint is for sure a mess but washes right off!

Today is a special day because it marks the day that one of my very best friends was born!
Since she lives in New York I had to make a little birthday package filled with love and goodies for her. The main thing that I wanted to share in this little gift is the book. This is one of my all time favorities. If you haven't read or seen it, you can check out parts of it below.
I thought it was the perfect gift for her on this birthday. The book is so complimentary, and beautiful! It really is inspiring. She is a wonderful friend, absolutely beautiful on the inside and out! Not to mention so much fun, I have some of the best memories with her! I am so lucky and proud to have her as a friend in my life. Happy Birthday Jay!

I am so excited to share this post with you guys! Ashton from Landing on Love and I have teamed up today to share how we wore one dress, two differnt ways! I like to switch it up a little and not just have single outfit posts. I think it is so inspiring and helpful to see how people create multiple looks with one main item. I always want to challenge myself to do this, so hopefully this will give you ideas as well! Our closets have so much potential and we need to be creative and mix up looks so that is what Ashton and I have done here!
Oh and not only does she have such a great name, she's beautiful, stylish and oh so sweet!
So we both chose to wear dresses, maxi dresses that is except as you will see...mine is more like a midi!  Oh well I loved the dress and it was fun to style it 2 ways!

I asked Ashton what she loves about maxi's? What makes them a staple in her wardrobe?

- I love how versatile maxi dresses are.  They are so easy to dress up for work, dress down for Saturday errands, or dress fun for a night on the town.  They are one of my go-to-pieces for Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Alright here's the deal, read below to see each of our first looks, then to see the second way we styled our dresses, go visit Ashton at Landing on Love

Wait, one more thing...

Pizzeria Bianco!

Over the weekend one of my good friends and I had a fun little day, laying out by the pool, shopping at Nordstrom Rack and Target, followed by a delicious dinner at Pizzeria Bianco.
If you live in Phoenix or have visited,  you may have heard of this fantastic little restaurant. Typically this restaurant has roughly a 2 hour wait at any given time. Yes, 2 hours! Insanity, I know!

When I first moved back to AZ, I went here - mainly because I was curious about what the big fuss was. If you are in the mood to have a date night, and are prepared to wait and possibly hang out at Bar Bianco next door, you'll love this place! The first location is in Downtown Phoenix, Heritage Square. Super cute old little thing with about 12 tables inside and a very simple menu.

Back to our fun little dinner date, as we finished our shopping we headed to a little pita place we always go to and right behind it we saw the sign. PIZZERIA BIANCO. We both were totally surprised and like Whhhhat? Another location? Really? How had we not heard of it? So we walked up to find out some info, it was in fact a new location of the famous Pizzeria Bianco! The best part, we walked right in, and got a table - NO WAITING.

So this new location is off 20th St and Camelback near Nordstrom Rack. Below are some pics of what we tried. Oh and we did get a really yummy cheese plate but we started eating before I remember a pic! I always do that!

So if you are ever in the area or visiting, you should try it!
